Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas. We had several Christmas parties, a visit from Papa T and DeDe, went to visit Santa, rode on "The Christmas Train" and lots of good food and presents. Zac and I just felt so happy to have our first Christmas with our two wonderful children and all our amazing family. Much like her birthday Kate loved the idea of Christmas, with presents, cookies, lights etc. We had so much fun experiencing it with her. Colin did what most babies do their first Christmas and slept through it all. But I really can't wait until next year until we have two kids that really get to enjoy the holiday!

Happy Birthday Kate!

I can't believe my little baby girl is already 2! She is just so amazing. Everyone who meets her remarks how funny and smart and beautiful she is. Of course she has her 2 year old "moments" but they a pretty few and far between. I truly feel so blessed to be her mother!

Her birthday weekend was so fun. Kate, Gigi and I went to Yo Gabba Gabba on Friday night and then Sunday we had her party at Gymboree. She really understood the concept of it being her party since she has started going to a lot of other kids parties, I think she was so happy it was her turn! The presents kept arriving in the mail and people brought them late and early to the house. I think she truly felt like her birthday was a week long event!

November

November was an exciting month for us! We had Susan and Reagan come in town to meet Colin, Kate had her first "party" at school (Thanksgiving Feast), we had a wonderful visit from Great Grandma and Grandpa Kratzer, and Colin turned one month and had his first Thanksgiving. Here are some pics from this month...

Family Photoshoot

We had our family photo shoot with the amazingly talented Laura from Studio Bloom Photography. But Kate is in a really hard stage for taking pictures and by the end of it Zac was swearing we weren't doing this again until she is at least 10!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year! Kate actually understood the concept of dressing up and we practiced saying Trick or Treat. We went to a party at our friends' house and walked around with a bunch of Kate's/our friends to get some candy! I think this might be the last year she doesn't actually care too much about getting the candy = )
